Left-facing and right-facing are terms that can be easily confused. Several terms in the furniture industry mean the same thing: right/left facing (RF or LF), right/left hand facing (RHF or LHF), and right or left arm facing (RAF or LAF). The directions are always determined when you are facing the furniture (as opposed to being seated on it). A right-facing loveseat will have the arm located on the right-hand side when you’re looking straight at the loveseat.
